Process Priority Optimizer is a process priority class optimizer for Windows NT/XP/Vista/7 systems through psapi.dll.
Main features:
- Simple and easy to use
- Automatically adjust applications execution priorities based on user preference (set and save process priority – AVI compression won`t slow down your computer)
- Automatically shutdown unwanted applications/processes (viruses, ad-ware, silly programs, etc.)
- Set and save process CPU affiinity
- Transparently boost performance (and system responsiveness)
- Anti-LockUp: automatically withdraw CPU time from aggressive processes
- Shutdown processes automatically at a given date-time
- Uses only ~12MBs of memory and very little CPU time
- Win32 and Win64 version
Requirements:
- Windows NT/Windows XP (psapi.dll)
- DirectX9 and a compatible 3D GFX card
Limitations in the unregistered version:
- Saving the settings is disabled
- 25 day trial
The default setings should be ok for a regular user.
There is a safety switch that will turn off optimizing if the cycle`s length is greater then the preset. Setting the optimizing cycle lower will react to boosting mechanism only.
Setting the managing profiles refresh to smaller value speeds up the auto-set class priorities task. Optimizing cycle timing also affects the Anti-LockUp (automatic priority class lowering function) reaction speed.

The software abylon LOGON offers a comfortable way to protect your computer against illegal access. You only need to train your chip card, your removable media (e. g. memory stick), or a CD/DVD with your windows login data and in the future this medium is your authentication for the computer. It is possible to use a two-factor authentication as optional extended protection. Beside the physical key a master-password must be inserting. By leaving your computer you need only to pull the smart card or the removable media and your computer locked or logged out automatically. Sending never again unencrypted emails. With abylon CRYPTMAIL offer abylonsoft an user interface and an Outlook AddIn for email encrypting (incl. Attachments). Only the owner of the private key (HYBRID-System) or the correct password (SYMM-System) can open and read this email. For any other person the content is locked.
With the AddIn for Outlook (starting from Outlook 2000 / not Outlook Express) you can encrypt, decrypt, sign or verify of your email-data with one click. The software support the encryption by using passwords (SYMM-System) or X.509 certificates (HYBRID-System). For the business use provide abylon CRYPTMAIL so-called Secure Message Envelops (SME), the signing with your certificate and the encrypting with the public keys of the receivers in one step. Alternatively for all other email clients (with MAPI interface) you can use the independent window for encrypting and/or signing mails and attachments.
