Actual Window Manager 6.7.2

Actual Window Manager v. 6.7.2Actual Window Manager is a desktop productivity suite of over 50 tools, letting users change their interaction with windows in many new exciting ways: minimize windows to tray or screen, apply transparency, roll up, pin on top, auto-align windows, resize, etc. Any of these operations (and many others) can be done in a click on the title buttons, which are added to the standard Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons after the installation. In addition to buttons, users can set up specific settings to be applied to predefined windows automatically (for example, 50% transparency for Winamp).

Installation and getting started is remarkably easy. Once installed, Actual Window Manager adds its own buttons to the title bar of each window. By default the program has profiles with the settings for the most popular Windows applications, but users can change these profiles to their preferences or make a profile of their own, which is a breeze to do. To make such changes, one needs to bring up the Configuration window and modify or set up a rule for a particular program, which can be done in a simple, point-and-click manner.

Actual Window Manager is particularly useful when you are simultaneously working with several applications. Switching from one window to another distracts attention, reducing the productivity of work. Moreover, the taskbar becomes packed with minimized windows. But it is not the case when you have Actual Window Manager on your computer. You can set it up to minimize windows to tray or on the desktop, roll them up, set up the appropriate level of semi-transparency. If you need to multitask in several applications at once, you can pin all necessary windows on top without the need to bring each one up several times.

And the last but not least: Actual Window Manager is the only window manager that provides the fully featured support for command prompt windows and native 64-bit applications running on any x64 edition of Windows.

Actual Window Guard 6.7.2

Actual Window Guard v. 6.7.2Actual Window Guard is what you need to keep your workspace in optimal condition for efficient and comfortable work. It has many settings helping to organize windows on the desktop and keep them in the order you prefer. It means you won`t have to spend time resizing and positioning windows as it will be done automatically. And there are many other features in the program which you can use to skip everyday routine and get better productivity.

Automatic positioning and resizing aren`t the only things Actual Window Guard can do. The tool allows you to minimize and maximize windows on startup, accurately align them within desktop, close irrelevant pop-ups, keep windows on top and prevent them from accidental closing. The program even enables you to change options which standard controls don`t provide (for example, you can remove windows from the taskbar or change individual settings, such as window`s icon and title). What`s more, the tool supports multi-monitor systems.

Not only Actual Window Guard serves well to facilitate your work with other applications but the program itself is very easy-to-use. The interface is made to be intuitive and friendly, so that you can get accustomed to it right away and quickly make needed adjustments. It`s also handy that the tool offers functions for specified types of windows and has features applicable to all types at a time. With Actual Window Guard, it won`t take much time to create and manage a system of rules for optimizing each and every detail of your workspace related to windows.

The rules can be applied to windows of almost any types of applications, including x64 ones. Moreover, at the moment Actual Window Guard is the only program of that kind, allowing you to manage command prompt (a.k.a. console/CMD/DOS) windows. All these features are available not only for Windows 2000/XP/2003 but Vista as well. In addition, most of the functions are also available for older but still exploitable Windows platforms, such as 95/98/ME.

Actual Window Minimizer 6.7.2

Monday, December 5th, 2011

Actual Window Minimizer v. 6.7.2Actual Window Minimizer was created to bring more convenience in window management, offering new ways for optimizing your workspace that standard Windows functions don`t provide. It lets you minimize any window to the system tray, thus leaving the taskbar empty and your workspace more organized. It`s also possible to minimize a window to any space on the desktop.

The tool has different ways of minimization. You can manually turn on the feature with the special Minimize-to-Tray button in window`s title bar, via system window command or using the hotkey. It`s also possible to adjust automatic minimization upon window`s startup or deactivation. Finally, you can replace the function of default buttons (either Minimize or Close).

The thing particularly helpful for fine-tuning minimization is that the tool can apply individual settings for a single window type. You can either set options for all windows or adjust minimization properties for particular window types. Such division allows you getting precisely the effect you want from working with the program. All the adjustments are extremely easy to set as the interface is very close to ideal and takes no time to familiarize with it.

Actual Window Minimizer is also at its best with window compatibility as it supports most of window types, including command prompt windows (also known as console/CMD/DOS ones).
